If you want the text to be legible in-game the image will have to be mirrored.

I'm pretty sure that the green monster is a dragon, which existed during the this time period, duh haven't you seen Game of Thrones, also in the "omg the immersion" is obviously a Latin phrase, plus neon cloth dye can be easily made with magic.

I have no idea why the Yoshi banner was removed, but other banners like Mercs or FIDLGB are "realistic"
