Plague inc.

I found this on the internet few days ago when checking on inide games development.

It is a game about creating your own virus/bacteria/parasite/whatever to infect and hopefully wipe out humanity. You can choose what means (what micro-organism) you want to use to achieve this, starting with bacteria, and working up from there. The game consist of picking the place of origin of the strain (any real life country) and devloping it in three areas: infectibility, severity, and deadliness, which you do by spending DNA points you gather by virus spreading (this happens automatically as new hosts get infected and travel around the world) and by increasing number of infections, which too happens automatically, as infected people come to contact with healthy ones.

For the DNA points you aquired, you can purchase the means of transmission (such as blood, wildlife, rats, insects), symptoms, from simple coughing and nausea to external hemorrhaging (hope I wrote that right), coma, rapid cell death, insanity and so on, and special abilities, such as resistance to climates (bacteria) spore releases (fungus), virus mutation (obv. viruses :D) etc.

The world of course, will not sit idly and watch the devastation your plague brings, and will strive to find a cure as fast as possible (how soon, and if ever depends on your difficulty).

The game is really fun and I can gladly recommend this to anyone interested.

Abandonded it when I did not manage to win using Fungus :?

Really good indeed though.

Played/playing it on Android.

It feels repetitive after a while cuz the tactic doesn't really change.
When west germany annexed east germany, nobody moved a finger too.

I did, but it is hell of a work to infect all countries. Good thing you can release spores to directly infect any random country of the map, because they sometimes close both airports and harbours, which means there is no way to infect the fuckers :D with other plagues.

You can add iceland. The thing is you must rush adaptation and infectibility. Lethality should be way down on the list of your priorities early game. Air and water spreading are most useful in my opinion, because they increase the chances of ships and airplanes transporting infected person to a another country or continent. After everyone is infected, pump as many DNA points into lethality and hope that they wont come up with a cure before they are all wiped out.

I gave up at nanovirus. They start developing a cure instantly. Fungus wasnt hard imo. And Madagaskar always ruined my game.
