Yeah nova 3-4 is probably average. DMG does have a lot of players in it tho, cuz most people who get there aren't good enough to get past it because there's a pretty big skill jump to eagle. You have to be a lot more consistent in your aim, and you have to actually have game knowledge and not rely on aim alone anymore. Earlier in the ranks if your aim is good enough it can pretty much carry you regardless of how dumb you play.

IMO there's too many smurfs and people that reach lower ranks on purpose for matchmaking to be fair in CS:GO. Started playing again the past weeks with some friends, and I started of as Nova 4 and dropped to Nova 2. There's always people that have ridiculous skill and carry the enemy team. Or it's simply the opposite where the enemy team is really bad and we win 16-3. Out of all games I played I can only count very few as a fair game.

I honestly don't see a problem with smurfs. I'd rather play against someone who is better than me than someone who isn't.

If you have skins what are worth less than 0.20$ just use them for betting if you already don't.  Made £5 off a £0.02 skin. Doesn't seam a lot but when steam deals are on it's £5 off a game.
