Butthurt Fnatic forfeit  :shock:

I would be surprised if they got paid to do it, to keep some of their reputation intact, to keep the sponsors reputation intact and so dreamhack doesnt get bashed for their decision. Sad to see, fnatic knowing a map better, and winning through it allthough it unfortunately had some immortal angles which they couldve been completely unaware of. Everyone was boosting there to see the map anyways, fnatic was the only one who knew of the pixel boost, i bet other teams wouldve used it if they were aware of it.

Ofcourse Fnatic has checked that boost spot from other angles, not doing so would be lazy and stupid. They should have brought it to attention, and not blatantly exploited it. They got noone to blame but themselves, and even thinking that something like that could be acceptable is just.. stupid  :P

What is that saying about apologizing after the fact rather then asking before hand and being denied?

Also, if there's money on the line then people are going  to use whatever they feel let's them get an edge over their opponents.
And how!

They probably checked it sure but they also probably thought it was within the rulebooks boundries. I wouldve, its easily countered by just knowing the actual spot, since you can shoot through the wall and hit the player up there, or just shoot his face..

It's a one way firing line.. The Fnatic boosted player is immortal  :wink:

"Final decision. LDLC vs Fnatic last map Overpass will be replayed due to texture transparency and immortal bug used by both teams."

Invisible more like, i think the wall was penetrable, and he could be headshot from many angles aswell. No one had any clue about the boost so there was no counter known to them.

I wouldnt have been satisfyed with a victory from a forfeit forced by the masses, but i guess im not LDLC.

Doesnt really matter if he is immortal or not, it's still pixelwalking and looking through textures, which is not allowed in the rules. How anyone can even think to argue against it is beyond me  :P

Pixel walking is allowed in DH winter 2014 though, looking through textures is what both teams did, and many more before by boosting on the truck. Only fnatic used the pixel boost which got bashed while regular boosting didnt. Im just arguing that its unfair to bash fnatic for using something to a further extent than other teams because maybe they were the only one to even know about it. Knowing the maps is a skill, finding a boost that can win you an entire map is amazing, allthough it would probably only work that one time.

Dont forget the cooperation professional teams have with valve to make the new maps as competitive and balanced as possible either. Valve specifically asked for this kind of information from professional teams. Then when Fnatic has had knowledge of this particular broken spot for over 2 months (and even getting a youtuber to remove it), that doesnt really help their cause. Fnatic wholeheartedly deserves to be bashed. Poor interviewer who talked to Fnatic post game, trying his best to talk slowly so he wouldnt curse infront of all the viewers at his disgust;

The removing of a youtube clip might be bullshit, theres no evidence atleast what ive seen that supports the fact that they asked for it to be removed. As for the valve and pro team cooperating to fix broken maps, well everyone else was boosting to scout in that position, shooting from was basically the same IMO just that the frenchies didnt scratch their heads hard enough to realize where they were getting sniped from.

Awkward interview as always, love esports.. The interviewer was definitely hiding some disgust, hilarious and i love it.
