Most corals live in shallow water, near the surface. Here's a few varieties that live on the ocean floor, thousands of meters deeper than "regular" corals.

Here's an eclectic assortment of critters.

Trapdoor spider that plugs its tunnel using the back of its abdomen. Through unknown means, it invokes the image of a vengeful Aztec diety to ward of predators.

A Nightingale. I have one of these around here, it's been singing since May now. So wonderful.

When I'm walking home I can already hear it when I'm getting close. Doing it at night at times too, very loud but beautiful.

Managed to get a glimpse of it a few times, but it's usually hiding somewhere. Saw it on the ground hopping around once.

Really cool birds  :)
