Such a failure. I used some addons to revert the change and get my FT DeepDark skin back, but some buttons are not functional, etc.

Me too. Missing some functionally but it is a step in right direction, design wise. What they need to improve in the future:

• bring back status bar as an option
• change icon of hamburger menu into stylized firefox icon
• create robust tab control system
• revamp speed dial and make it better than opera's (don't want extension for this)
• work on servo and replace gecko with it when it becomes mature enough (this will fix many performance issues)
• further improvement of webgl and similar integration technologies

All in all, polish, add necessary features and stop depending on 3rd party extensions so much. They are liability and in few cases are on the needed level.

Yeah, it looks like Chrome but it still doesn't run plugins/tabs as separate sandboxed processes.

If only the Opera team hadn't turned into douchebags.  I miss that browser, I don't understand why they had to fuck it up.
