I think Tydeus(?) made a big mistake with buffing many 110-120 reach 2h to ridiculous speeds. Especially when compared to 1h. Whenever I play swashbuckler I feel outclassed on all fronts now, not even the sweet 1h animations can prevent the playstyle from feeling pointless compared to 2h. A 96 speed Miaodao and a 97 speed Nordic Champion Sword, hahwat? Other weapons that I find have ridiculously good speed/length/damage ratios in the 2h category are the Greatsword, Sword of War, Flambard, Dadao. I thought he did a 1 speed buff accross the board, but he might have done more to 2h.

Just because NA is too retarded to realize that long 2h weapons are fucking awesome doesn't mean these weapons were bad. Now they completely outshine comparable weapons in the other categories. With the German and Danish on 91 speed, all the other greatswords should be 92-93 and the Miaodao should be 95 at most with the Dadao being 93 with higher weight and 2-3 more cut damage than the Miaodao, as the model suggests.

Katana at least doesn't hit as hard. Has that nasty ghostreach as well because of the curve, but still. The speed is not so much of a problem simply because the BS/HBS got that, too.

+3 katana have 41 cut,it is like you get hit with +3 poleaxe. it is fast and doing a lot of dmg.

Nerf 2h! But especially Dadao/Miadao. Actually, just Dadao/Miadao should suffice. Nerf it into oblivion. European Knights using this shit all over the place on EU2 and it makes my eyes bleed evertim.

I don't see why 1 handers should be as good as 2 handers. They are 1 slot (or 0) and allow you to take ranged weapons and/or a shield

Not that I think 1 handers by themselves are bad in any case, they are still very good

If 2 handers are too good them buff polearms, not 1 hand. That just buffs ranged and 1 hand w/ shield is already really strong.

I don't think internal 2 hand balance is too bad, but poles should get something for losing their micro stun on each hit. Maybe +1 more speed for weapons under 95 speed
