You're my hero, never stop posting like this

Beautiful enough I decided to use it as my signature.
For all the non-believers, look no further than this thread for proof that while strat battles are won/lost in NA3/EU3, strat wars are won and lost on the forums.

The phalanx crushes anything unless the enemy is strong in skirmishers. They hit hard.

Funny thing, there was a time that Crete was 10 times stronger than Athens and Sparta combined

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minoan_eruption

This is the main theory explaining the decline of minoan civilization. And also supposedly the source for Atlantis legends in greek mythology. Prior to this pottery and other items from Crete were present throughout the whole of the eastern Medditerrannean. Although crafts from Euboa were also quite present. They were the "Athens" and "Sparta" of their age, in terms of power, wealth, trade and colonies. Still it's completely relative. They were never as objectively powerfull as either of those city-states. Just relatively.

Are you talking about the Minoan civilization?

Oooh, didn't see there was a second page. I guess you were then, judging from Oberyn thinking the same.
