the problem with WW2 shooters is that most are just generic "American soldiers in Europe, D-day hurrdurr!" or "Mighty russian comrades! crush evil german war dogs!" Theres just so much more to WW2 than D-day and Stalingrad, and none of it gets explored in games.

plus, i can only take so much of the same WW2 guns over and over again. MP40s and Mosin-Nagants get rather boring after a while. there was a wide variety of Firearms used in WW2, and id like to see them.

As far as i can remember there were various parts of CoD2

from obvious Soviets to British in Africa (was nice to play those battles) to ofc American killing everything. It was fun fighting in Tunisia etc

I've played every COD game there is on both PC and Xbox and even PS3/ (PS2 as well back in the day and even COD 3 on Wii lol) that means COD 1, COD 1 United Offensive, COD 2, COD 2 Big Red One, COD 3, COD 4 with all map packs, COD 5 with all map packs on multiple consoles, COD MW2 all map packs, COD MW3 on all map packs, BOPS 1 and 2 with all map packs on different consoles, and Ghost etc... as well and got most of em on release day.

And to be honest..Ghost was one of the weaker ones. Not as bad as MW3 or COD 3 (still ok) but still nothing special at all.

- The gun sounds were slightly improved but meh overall.

- Amount of guns were pretty weak. Graphics were only slightly improved. And no dedicated servers like BOPS 2 had.

- And a pretty damn weak campaign.


But i have hope for Advanced Warfare. Cuz luv PMCs. Time 2 RP as Blackwater PMCs

Yeah the campaign wasn't great, but what I did like was the overhaul of prestige and customisation, and the perks system was much nicer I think. Small incremental changes, I know, but I liked having options in multiplayer. "Dynamic" maps was kind of interesting, plus the field orders things was cool. My main problem with the game is actually the fact that multiplayer is simply circular maps with poor spawning.

Infinity Ward isn't even Infinity Ward nowadays. Between all current COD dev studios, Treyarch is the best one. Next year Treyarch will make that years COD and hopefully show that COD can still be awesome. Just hope they go away from Black Ops series and make a brand new COD and don't make another futuristic COD game.
