This could be awesome IF they get the combat right. Everything else looks already very promising, mi thinks.

Seems extremely promising, but this game looks like it will rely almost exclusively on its gameplay. I can see the progression system being fleshed out too though.

It uses the same engine that Dead Island and the Call of Juarez games use, just the latest version of it I assume.

Yep, it's the Techland engine.

There are several other videos already published. When I find the time, I gonna look them up and post.
They used some HEMA dudes for the motion capturing and to advise them on the combat. Doesn't necessarily mean that they get the combat right but it indicates that they seem to focus quite some time on it.
If the combat is good, I wouldn't mind a shallow skill tree tbh.

Yea, it's kinda stupid really. Posted it before trying myself. Just the first choice is already retarded, same for that first crossroad. I went left and quit "playing".

Oww, and I've read that they gonna do Steam Early Access in Autumn this year. I will probably give it a go if the material released keeps being this good.

Kinda the same, especially the "die at random points of the story" choices. If there is the same kind of freedom and deaths I'm going to enjoy it
