Winter of Vivaldi is definately my favorite classical song. So much gentleness, yet so much emotion and beauty.

Hmm, well Rachmaninoff's 2nd piano concerto sounds pretty similar. Its theme develops slower but it's incredible the first few times you listen to it.


Here's Mozart's 21st piano concerto 2nd movement, it may sound very familiar.


If you didn't like those, here is an arrangement of Schubert's "Schwanengesang", song no.7. It is just unbelievably beautiful  :cry:

I admit it, this one is in because I first heard it in the movie "Master & Commander", but still...



The Beethoven piece at the end is pretty weird and it was far from being his own favourite, but I like it, dunno why.
