the str build is simply the one that will completely max out damages with the horn bow

req 5 ;  5 + 4 = 9 ; 56% bonus damage given to horn bow. Also, PD is not necessary on high levels and with looms, since damages that come from wpf are huge. Test the first one and enjoy all the hate  Well, you can use any of them if you know how to play them to be honest, simple as that.

If the guy got a rus scale armor and rus shoes, I shoot the legs, seems logical that someone will take much more damage in legs if he got such kind of combo than on the torso (imagine that rus scale armor +3 and heavy gauntlets +3 are around 70 body armor). The shot will often make more damages and it will cause an intense rage since he did pay a whole heavy stuff but boots.

And that's where you're wrong. Having 129 wpf only because the PD penalties go down with 9 PD is far to be a bad choice.

I value your opinion as a veteran archer,  and thus support your cause.  although i still feel highly mistreated by huge amounts of arrows darkening my every day : )
Yes, I know from whence I came! Discontented as a flame, Upon myself I live and glow. All I grasp like lightning flashes, All I leave behind is ashes
Flame I am - that much I know!

Ok, thank you Algarn. I'll test it

If that's the only way to make damages, i'll try.

Only took about a year before people started to realize high PD is more viable when bows have increased accuracy?

It's not new, tatar and hornbow where always superior. Some might insist on using the longbow for style only.
