... and so the caravan moved eastwards in hope to find the land of plenty. Hope has been long gone at home.
Nobody knew if they would survive the journey, nobody knew what would await them, nobody knew what would happen.
But everybody knew things would get better.

(click to show/hide)

After weeks and months of marching, slight silhouettes arose behind the horizon. In the middle of the steppes, in between dried out bushes, dead trees and brown grass, there was this beautiful city, majestically reaching for the sky. Tulga. Everybody cheered, enthusiastically running towards the, so it seemed, sky-high walls and the huge gate. To everybody's despair they would soon realise that the citizens will not let the travellers enter Tulga by choice.
Armed men strafe over the battlements, blades and arrows are sharpened. A battle about to begin will dye the sand red.

A new faction arises.
Her Britannic Majesty's Royal Armed Forces, settled in Nova Tulga, setting up a small trading business.
We are a bunch of EU people starting over in NA since EU will soon be completely ruled by the UIF.
Everybody is welcome to join, whether you are EU or NA, however, be a dickhead and you will be exiled to EU with the rest of them.

For all the non-believers, look no further than this thread for proof that while strat battles are won/lost in NA3/EU3, strat wars are won and lost on the forums.

All illegal EU immigration will have goods and gear seized and receive immediate deportation back over the border upon first contact with one of our many border patrol agents.

If you have forgotten your papers that show you as a confirmed Unofficial American Citizen and thus worthy of being allowed to betray your homeland and 3+ years of Strategus history due to cowardice and fear of the superior Slavic race (common in the neo-nazi culture of "EU cRPG players", I will personally conduct a review into your case for 250,000 cRPG gold (payment due immediately) and you will be considered for amnesty.

In NA Strategus, its always "the other guys" that have the far superior heavy plate crutch armor, giving them an unfair advantage because you are using "fun, themed armors" for your armies.

Empty idle threats about your troops and gear being the best, weeks before the entire clan (or at least the 1 leader, screwing everyone else) disbands and GTXs STrategus completely, is what we expect from border hopping EU scum.

 Go gather your troops and try to drive us out of NA again then. We will wait.

I don't fucking blame you for hopping to NA, I'd do it if I had to fight DRZ for all Strat.  Hope you give NA some good wars and some great drama, because we're lacking in both.

That was basically the intention. Stir things up a bit and make strat more interesting and worth playing in general.

Me and Switch spent a lot of Strat 4 playing NA battles when EU was being boring 2-block stalemate, we enjoyed the NA Strat battles themselves much more even when wars began in EU cos the community is clearly there to have fun rather than put into action an economic 5-year plan. Also everyone speaking the same language might contribute to a better atmosphere (i know it can be hard for some people who don't think they speak English very well to have a good time in TS).

Even 'Fun Battles' in EU were tedious and repetitive 'efficiency' competitions compared to Murdertron's epic Arbalest battles (my personal highlight of Strat 4). 120 ping is a small price to pay when everything else is so much more fun.

Moving to NA Strat is something i've wanted to do since Strat 5 was announced (and even earlier, it's why i targeted Ada Kulun in Strat 4 at one point), and now we're finally moving it's fantastic. Played some ToR with Switch and Bird Clan in the past, and just yesterday me, Phoenix and Switch had an awesome time on AtWar with more NA, declaring total war on AIDS... Clearly the NA community has a good number of awesome guys who have a much better approach to playing video games (ie. it's meant to be fun!!!!).

That is the reason why I(if i remember correctly) played more NA strat battles than EU ones.
Hell we would get up at 4am or 5am to play in those battles, especially the arbalest line battles, those were glorious. Can't wait to get things in NA rolling to actually actively participate.
