also add nun-chaks and the option 'seppuku' in case you th a fellow samurai (that goes well with the jap faces) where you just kneel down and ram your knife in your chest, if a fellow samurai happens to be standing next to you he can also chop your head of (and this goes well with the decapitating)

THAT actually is a good idea... i'd love to see some wardrums / banners raise a teams morale - set that one player accepts the fact he's not able to fight but to help the team as a supporter. (could be elected like the commander). 1 drummer/team, 1 bannerdude/team. one gives +armor, the other one +damage. Wouldn't even be unrealistic. (i'm serious)

The drummer could be able to drum unique rythms. Like instead of attacking / blocking he's got left drum and right drum on his mouse.

The Bannerdude could be given bonus XP for the time holding the banner up straight. (maybe he has to balance it with mousemovement so it doesnt fall. :3


The Mongolian horde might also be a good replacer for the flag system. But maybe it would be nice if there just would be 10 bots/team added (instead of flags) that are searching for the players to kill them.
If your team manages to kill all enemy bots, your team wins.... would definately like that more than just standing at a flag watching my teams' archers shoot the last 2h of the enemy team...

Edit: on a second view, i have to say that almost every single one of your ideas' got some true potential. I like your way of thinking - though i really think you should try to input those ideas in a more serious way :D - pretty sure some of them would be considered.

i like the idea of the banner giving xp

i don't think people realise how many of these i'm actually serious about :D

i think if you have like 27 agility you should genuinely be able to backflip/forwards flip (without it doing any damage or giving a stun, and having a cooldown of like 5 seconds)

and having 'account deleting duels' which reset a characters level to 1 would just give so much juicy drama, oh it'd be exquisite :D

with regards to the drummer / flag etc, i was actually thinking, what about a new game mode not based upon killing all of the enemy team, but based upon morale; the team whose morale reaches 0 first loses

for example, each team starts with 100 morale, and say it was a 70v70, every time a player dies, the team loses 2 morale, each team has a commander, if he dies, the team loses 25 morale, there are several 'flags' on the map, if a team manages to capture an area, the enemy loses 15 morale, each team has a banner carrier / a drummer, if one of them dies the team loses 10 morale

it's just an idea but meh, could be kind of fun :P
