From a peaceful land where people don't pull a knife from a pocket. This just doesn't happen.
Then consider yourself lucky, but I'm sure there aren't many places in the world where people don't get stabbed.
A guy pulled a knife on me when I was a teenager after coming over to randomly insult me and then spitting on me, which lead to me punching him and him pulling the knife ( I ran quicker than he could so I got lucky to be fair lol ). Two of my friends have been stabbed, also two acquaintances have been stabbed to death and many other people in my lifetime have died from being stabbed in my town.
I have learned that you should try to avoid conflict, but if you cannot then do all you can to win it and seal the deal. It's a shame that avoiding conflict is not always possible, as some people make it their hobby to force you into a fight and wouldn't think twice about stamping on your head if they got you to the ground, don't hesitate to do the same to them.
