If it is buffed, it needs "not usable on horseback" trait

Aww yeah, you suggest that a bow that was used all over japan by cavalry gets "not usable on horseback" trait.

You know, that sounds like really smart dude.

By the way, what stuff are you smoking?

Bow
missile speed: 42
weight: 3.5
accuracy: 99
difficulty: 4
speed rating: 58
missile speed: 42
thrust damage: 28 cut
slots: 2
Can't use on horseback

What historical reason can't we use this on horseback for?

And don't be a cunt because you disagree with what I've said, try putting your opinion across in a nicer manner. The weapons are not balanced upon realism, but upon game play.

Yumi is a bow especially designed to be used on horseback. It can be fired from horseback because its asymetrical shape, whereas Bow is too large to be used on horseback.

You ask for a bow that was specifically designed to be used by horse archers to have a trait that makes it not available to be used in such manner, and when I ask you if youre toking, you call me cunt.

Really smooth mate. You deserve 5/10 for effort.

Can't take you serious for a suggestion that would deny a horse bow to be used on horse. How dumb is that. Even if it had 2 slots and more dmg, the bow would still be shit on foot. Ever played foot archer with it? You don't seem to know anything about that. So better go away, back to your threads where you suggest a 2h buff. This thread is far ahead of you.

And become over powered on horseback...

I don't play 2h Miwiw, I play archer quite a lot :( Your comments hurt me, I'll go cry now

Horn Bow with 6 PD does more damage than the Yumi without a significant speed bonus because the Horn bow gets a bonus to damage from the extra 1 PD(req. 5) while the Yumi requires 6 and thus gets no bonus.
Lolwut.

You still get the PD damage bonus for the PD up to the bows requirement. It's CAPPED at 4+PD requirement, not JUST what PD you got above the requirement.

I.e. A longbow guy with 10 PD gets (10x14%) 140% bonus damage, no (4x14%) 56% bonus damage.
This game isn't about being skillful as much as its about saying things in general chat that enrage people who then go to murder you but in their rage they make dumb mistakes which gets them killed.

Yeah yumi is made for HA but i still prefer horn because i believe sacrificing 2 damage for 8 missile speed is a no brainer.

The reason why this is being discussed is because 'Great leader Corsair' thought it would be a great idea to loom the fucking yumi to +3 in strat, despite me telling him to go shove a yumi up his ass if he does so..

Yumi in strat is a bad idea or will you have 10 HA in every battle?

Basically in the kindest way possible Corsair is a massive reject. :P :P I am no longer applying for any shogunate battles in protest to the yumi bow.

Leave alone Yumi's arrow speed, it is flavour of this weapon. It's better to buff accuracy instead. Yumi is indeed accurate enough bow IRL.
