AOW declares war on Hospitaller

Even with a trade agreement between Hospitaller and AOW they attack Hospitaller in Acre free trade land.  I suppose bad habits die hard.  If you thought you could trust AOW even after they dicked Kutt in the last strat think again.  We were willing to look past that dick move of the past and press the reset button but the communists have now shown that they will always be communists. Thanks again AOW for kicking a trade partner while they are down.  I suppose it was a low risk move at this point but what you fail to realize is that your reputation is being damaged. Official Response from the Squid Republic; A trade agreement was never struck between Hospitaller and the Squid Republic. It requires a 60% vote in the council to pass. The hospitaller agreement received 2/16 votes. Let's entertain the notion that there was an agreement struck and look at the facts. There has only been one transaction this strat between the Squid Republic and Hospital, Wes dropping off goods at New Dugan. No trade support was ever received and our coffers run dry. The location of the battle is taking place in the Saints territory; see link below. War has not been declared, all Hospitaller in the plains need not worry. Please research your facts before you besmirch us on an open forum.

Why would people make deals with someone (or a faction) that is known to break those deals?

Yes strat is like risk, if the short term benefit of breaking an agreement is better than the long term consequence of never having any other faction trust you, sure.  That's up to you whether it's worth it or not.
