You both crossed insults with the same intensity and it's not pleasant, sure, but he's not going to be globally banned for that, and neither are you. Try to ignore this kind of things in the future, since giving up to rage and insults over the Internet is never a good thing, but not letting it affect you and ignoring it is smarter (and healthier, if you ask me).
