I think the first movie was much better than this one. It was not bad, had some awesome battle scenes (especially the first one  ). And was that ending a cliffhanger? Third movie coming out ? Xerxes still lives  and still has his army.

P.S you'll understand that I didn't really spoil shit except for the fact that the movie is short when you finished watching it.

Yeah I had some history classes regarding the Persian invasion and I was quite amazed. 300 movie series is highly unrealistic but it's still great. You should especially watch it as a Greek :p

Themosticles is really badass in this movie. So are the immortals

Yeah. I would recommend it if you liked the first movie. I watched it in 3D but would personally prefer watching it in 2D. The movie has a very dark lightning which made it hard to see at times with 3D glasses. But that just might be me.

If unrealism bothers you this movie isn't for you  There's like 15-20 meter jumps from cliffs to ships and extremly far away accurate sniper bow shots. If you weren't too fond of the first movie I'd recommend you wait for a torrent.

Probably the third one will be about battle of Platea and total rape of Persians.

And while I realize that first move was done in line with the comic book, I still can't watch it without grinding my teeth when seeing the world's most famous HEAVY infantry fighting naked in order to show those abbs!
