Transferring items between your own characters.

I think this would be useful. Also fair, since singe char's get level 30 jump.

I see no problem with trading between your own characters. You can play only one at a time so the equipment was purchased for the same time spent in the game regardless with which character.

Its a good idea. In fact now if you have looms for more than 1 character, you can only trade your main's ones. So if we could transfer our loomed items from seconday characters to main, we could trade with them.

I would agree even to pay some money per transferred item from secondary to main character.

Now with that thing of "primary char" I feel like I thrown away all the time I spend with him, XP and gold I win with him, and all the equip I bought, all gone.
I think I wont play with him again, and will LOVE to transfer my equips and gold to the primary one.

wouldnt this allow alts to trade with mains? so besides twinking you can also just use a low maintenance character to subsidize an expensive one, which is not what devs want to happen.  The repair costs are to prevent people from using the best gear ALL the time

Since when playing the low maintenance character you cannot play the expensive one, you are not using best gear ALL the time. It just means that when you go cheap you have a different name and perhaps a different build, but the server still has a cheap gear character running around for the same fraction of the time. Also remember that time spent making money with the alt is wasted time in leveling the main towards retirement.

Taking into account that alts are just pure funchars now, I totally support this idea.

Bad idea because this would fuck the heirloom system up if they reset the heirlooms or lower peoples generations.

eg. u give 5 heirlooms to a gen 1 alt, reset happens he only got 1 heirloom. then u will all moan about it.

Allowing transfers would defeat the purpose of the devs limiting the market only to 'mains' so, no, I don't think this should happen.

Your wrong.

The generations on your main will remain the same. Therefore you can transfer back the un-heirloomed stuff and heirloom it again.
