Current LP price is 360-400k. Anyway, if you do some maths and compare the price of 3 LPs to the price of a more common +3 item which is sold for 2 LP and 50-100k you see why you trade +3 for LPs and not buy them for gold or loom yourself.
(3 LPs = 1,140,000 gold with a price of 1 LP = 380k)
