Hey guys, I had this in my mind for a long time, let's try this, I'm very interested.

How did you find your nickname, if there is a little story behind it, would you share it with us?
Also, why did you choose your specific nickname, what do you like in it the most?


I'll begin: 

So, I played online games and used many forums, but never had a normal nickname that's related to me!

I started to think about a nick, not too stupid but something that fits me..

Well, my name is Chris, and one of my favorite stories is "The Count of Monte Cristo". I had the idea of mixing Cristo with the H, and here we go! I had my "somewhat" unique nickname, it's widely used thanks to the many Christophers around, but I don't care. 

Later I thought that my nick also means Jesus, but when someone says "Hai omg jezzuz lulz0r", I tell them this little backstory of my name.

This name is not actually the name I go by when it comes to online forums and gaming. I just happened to name my character it.
Thus I thought it would be the best to use it on the forum also.

However. The name itself is more or less borrowed.

Here's my story:

When I started to play computer games I never had any nickname. My name is Daniel irl, so I started to use Dani (hungarian) in games, but it felt really cheap and boring, and there are like 10000 Dani's in the world of gaming. One day my friend gave me a game named Syberia, it's and adventure game and I really liked it. I played the game and then I found a very interesting character in it, there was a boy called Momo, he didn't have any real name and he just came up with this random name and called himself Momo (He was homeless but he was adopted later by a woman). This boy was very funny, so I decided to pick up his name. When I started to use this name it was not very overused like nowadays. It also means peach in japanese which I think is very funny lol and the fact that Momo is a japanese name too.

Khorin. A misspelled version of Qhorin Halfhand from A Song of Ice and Fire(A Clash of Kings) to be more precise.
And my other name some might know or remember me by, Keyoke, taken from the Empire Trilogy by Raymond E. Feist.

My normal name on the internet is Lord of Lost Socks, though. Came up with it myself because it sorta rolls off the tongue.
Also, initials are L.o.L.S. So I am the LoLS.

Well, my name is Lee, around 8-9 years ago an old friend of mine for some reason called me Leesin, it stuck for a while and I used it for a game name since then, because it's nice and simple.

My original and most used nickname is Nilzizi.
My irl name is Nils, so i thought why not add a zizi? So i can be ever more gay than i already aaam!
And broc came to me when i was watching damo's lets play of Fallout: New Vegas, he was collecting a broc flower, then i started thinking about brock from pokèmon, and that's how the name came to be.
My current char name, Murduck, came to me when i was watching a girl shuffle video (yeah), and one went by the name of xXDrMordockXx, and then i replaced the o's with u's and the unoriginal x's and the Dr with nothingness.
