When I bid, it says I'm not the highest bidder on it. It shows the money I added and 1 gold,

so u need to beat his Offer to be the highest bidder (but u cannot see the highest offer)

wat. I bid 100 k and the highest was only 70, then instantly it says 100k and 1 when I hit accept

No the actuall offer is just the first highest bidding.

Example:

The Auction starts with 1 Gold
I bet 100k
at the moment i will win the auction with 1 Gold
Another Player bits 70k.
The first guy still wins and the Auction price goes to 70k and 1 Gold (since he offered up to a price of 100k

ah okay, how do I know if I bid way more than I needed to? What is the general price of titles

It just depends on the money you would spend.

For myself i handle it like that:

First i set a limit for myself, how much money i would spend.
- just for example 500k.
I would start to bet 100k. If i am still to low 100k more.... 100k more.... when i have the highest bet i will stop.

Alternative (for lazy guys) just bet your 500k. If i am top and get it, i am happy, if not... well... i just forget about it and enjoy my wealth

I dont know exactly, but i think:

u spend - lets say - "500k" in auction for the title, then u have an option  to spend 50k and have the title 30 days longer. I never owend a buyable Title. But i understand it this way.
