Nokias used to be indestructible.

That combined with snake meant that pretty much everyone had one when I was at school.

Since I had a touch screen nokia that started breaking within a couple of months I have ditched them.

Went blackberry after that and now joined the apple mob with an iphone 4. Whilst I hate apple, they do build things well and put some other companies to shame. The finish on the iphone is fantastic.

yes, so much this! the Snake was the shit. I think my frist Nokia was 3310 also had 8210 which I loved, 5200 xpressmusic was also cool, I gave up on Nokia on N97, such a disappointment, couldn't compete with Android, Symbian just sucked so bad on a touchscreen.

And since today Nokia 6303, best phone I had so far. Never broke, never had a software problem, only had to change the batteries once (some months ago). Abused as a storage device, mp3player, document "scanner" (photo) and shopping list. Also lost it in the snow twice (and accidently found it), lost it in the mud during a festival (and was returned by a chick) and dropped countless times.

Nah it was one of their first entirely touch screen ones. Can't even remember what it was called but it was utter crap.

Paha I know I feel ashamed but my Ipod has lasted 8 years and only just started breaking (only plays out of 1 ear phone) so I'm hoping it's a good investment.

Old phone was stolen about 3 weeks after getting it, sad times :(.

New phone is the best gamble I've made. (It's a pretty cheap chinese make (~£150 at the time))
Huge screen, very chunky, love it. (pretty nice specs too)

HTC Wildfire was the worst piece of shit phone i ever had the displeasure of owning. It basicaly made me never want to buy another HTC, ever.

Now i have a Nokia lumia 610. Its ok i guess

Changed from a nokia flip-phone from 2007 to a nokia normal-ish phone a few months ago, smartphones are for bundle of stickss

I used a crappy flip phone for one month not so long ago and I loved it. Flipping my phone right in front of all those smartphones felt like mine had the only feature that really matters.

True, looking back now I seem to have made a really bad choice, considering 1 1/2 years ago that Wildifre S did still cost about 160€ when I bought it. However the first time I liked it a lot because I had that old Samsung phone before and that was a big step forward (and I could play Pokémon!).
Now HTC is not something I would consider buying again. :)
