First one I had was some of these Nokia apocalypseproof atrocities. Latest is a cheap Galaxy. I don't really make much use of the smartphone functionalities all that often.

which, apart from being superbly comfortable and useful is damn hard to destroy. I dropped this thing on pavement from the height of a 3-story building - it had opened up in layers and had lost most of the decorative plastic stuff in the front, i simply closed it up and it was fully working again

I had some relatively indestructible (I actively tried to destroy it) pay as you go phone where the plan was an utter rip-off. It was 25 cents just to connect, even if the call went to voice-mail so I would have to guess when to hang up, and 25 cents a minute for the first four minutes and then 10 cents after that and per text message.

Now I have a busted first generation iPhone (first smart phone I've owned) because it was a dollar and the four regular phones they had were all ridiculous, thick, flip-phones with giant buttons.

Find the pic you want, click on it, click,"see full size" or whatever, copy the URL, come back to the forum, click the Mona Lisa icon which will write [ img] [/img] and paste the link in between that.

So essentially:

^ but without that space.  Hope this helps / makes sense.  Sounds complicated but its really just a few clicks.

First phone: Nokia 3310

Current phone: Samsung Galaxy S3

Got my S3 the day it came out over here, my contract will run out in June but I'm just going to keep my S3, get a SIM only contract and keep on using this. I'll put some cash aside and then I'll buy the Galaxy S5 handset in cash later on in the year, works out cheaper than a contract+handset and less money to come out of my account each month after that.

This one is probably the best phone I ever had. Goddamn it lasted long and it took some serious punishment. Even used it in the army and it got wet, got dropped on rocks and got all sorts of shit in my pocket.

Next one I thought I'd buy because it looked similar to the previous one. What a mistake. Probably the shittiest phone I ever had. Worked fine for couple of months and then the damn touch screen dies. I take it to the shop and they fix it but tadaa couple more months later the screen dies again... I never bother to bring it back for the second time because the first time it took so long and the whole process was difficult.

Currently I'm using Samsung Xcover. Nokia went to Microsoft and I had to try something else since the last Nokia I had was complete and utter bullshit. Wanted a phone that doesn't break easily but could do shit. GPS is pretty handy and the phone has lasted pretty damn well considering my usage. Not a dent on the screen but some wear on the plastic parts. Nothing that would bother me. I'm not the kind of guy who puts his phone in protective case every time he goes out
