Nothing wrong with showing some love to donators, but I don't like the idea of donators gaining an advantage (en tho it's a small one). I'd rather see something like, silly hats, changing name color, random title and what not.

Well, I'm extremely hostile towards the idea of giving any kind of advantage in exchange for money, but I guess the randomness and the overall small effect mean it's not such a horror in this case. Once a week might be too much, though; those points will stack up over time and big donors will probably end up catching most of them.

+1 . While the idea sounds good in paper. But it will bring even more unbalance.

We have alot of players under 18, who may not donate due to law.
Or people that realy like this mod and developers... but simply cant miss the money.

Maybe special donator items. Nothing overpowered... but some hip looking peasant clothing, for the lower levels.

I would add my voice to those suggesting that the item recieved is NOT a heirloom.

Fancy peasant hats, boots and dresses are a far better way to reward donators... why?

1) It doesn't give you a chance to pay for in game advantage
2) clothing, however weak, makes it possible to show off in-game that you donated
3) We have enough heirlooms as is. Lets not flood it again, and have fasader steal them back.

Just give donaters a shiny colour ingame or an ingame message when they join the server like the strategus messages.

Example: Sir Neresto_HRE the generous entered the server.

I'll match my full donation before Saturday, should help a bit.

Whether or not 1 heirloom a week is too much we can't judge unless we know how many are actually playing, either way I too would prefer some 'fun' item instead, for example a nice looking 0 slot item.
