This sword is designed to pierce plate armors which Ottoman Empire never used. It's like attacking Tanks with Anti-Aircraft weapons.
Maybe it's used in Inner Christian crusades ? Such as Catholics attacking Protestans ? Doesn't make sense neither since Protestan Order came out at 16th century derp.

When and where did crusaders used this anti-armor swords ? I really am curious.

Just because a sword is very pointy doesnt mean it is designed to pierce plate.

I can't say that I have ever seen one on the ground in NA 1. That doesn't mean that it is never being used, but I am a nerd who plays too much and I scavenge 1H for dueling at the end of the round.

The crusader sword is really similar to the italian sword. +3 italian swords exist and are cheaper than hunting down a crusader sword or looming one yourself. In NA at least, the flavor of the month 1H weps seem to be scimitars, axes, and the ever-popular spathovaklion.

Stat-wise the crusader sword doesn't really need a buff... the current metagame (and much cheaper alternative in the italian) make it a rare sight. Thinking of looming one next, what with being a Crusader of Acre and all.

I used a +3 crusader for 4 months or so, nice sword but you really miss the added reach of the Italian when fighting S-keyers. It took me months to trade it for a +3 Italian, so don't overvalue the Crusader if you are trying to get one on the market.

If I'm going to give up reach, it would be for the Grosses Messer or Broad Short Sword; the ~85cm swords are really nice against anyone but S-keyers, agi polearmers, and kick spammers. Unfortunately, most of cRPG melee is one (or all) of those three now.

Cool idea. I just got one +3 today, will test it and give my EXPERT REVEIW. Statwise, the +3 reminds me more of espada than italian sword.

Nice idea, although I assume it would look funny since the hilt only has room for one hand.
