Actually this one is better in that it includes all of siberia, which is a huge landmass your other map didn't cover.  The mongols owned practically all of asia the biggest continent in the world.  Georgeyboy had canada and india and some of africa (not that much, too early, next century was the big african land grab), which doesn't equal as mucha s the mongols despite the huge amount of inhabited parts of canda he claimed even though no englishman ever came even remotely clsoe to most of western and northern canada. 

At least the other rulers had people conquer the areas they claimed - george claimed all the lands inhabited by inuits even though they never interacted with them in order to take possession of those lands.  Kind of like when the catholic church gave all of western north and south america to spain even though most of it went unexplored.  Its not really conquered territory if the inhabitants dont even know who you are.  hence most of george's canada claims shouldn't count toward the total.  Mongols rode everywhere - including northern russia.


Also, Napoleon had more land than histler because he took the spanish land in central north america from spain that he later sold to U.S.  Spain had at one point had more land than george thanks to south and north american claims and east indies.



P.S. Oh shit, what am I saying.  Haven't we all played Europa Universalis with full cheat mode on - Malta had the largest empire on earth conquering 4 of the known continents.
