Honestly, both are a load of horseshit. But FTWD is even worse imo. I simply can not tolerate is this same load of whiny bullshit dialog all over again, that was basically all ready too much covered in the first one. I mean seriusly. Again? Who would watch that? Not to mention there are more shows with this bullshit whiny dialog. 5 minutes of action and 30 min of constant complaining. FTWD, Arrow, Flash...

Make a drinking game out of this. Take a shot every someone says the lines similar to "is this the right thing to do?", "i need to do this alone to keep my friends safe", "you need to start trusting and having faith in other people", "we can make a difference", "I trusted him and someone I loved died", "I trusted you and you messed up". Do it. I quarantee you will never watch another show again because you will probably have alcoholpoisoning from the first 15 minutes of whatever episode you picked from all those shows mentioned above, unless it was the last or first episode of whatever season. Those are to make you keep watching.

FTWD redeemed itself in the end of first season and I sincerely hope they'll get canceled soon. First FTWD season have shown everything I want from zombie show, just like first season of The Walking Dead. Depiction of outbreak is what interest me, survival in the woods with group of colorful mercenaries doesn't interest me at all.

That being said, still waiting to see zombie outbreak done well. Like millions of people turning in few hours, camera panning from one side of town to another. Show without emotions, thoughts and other crap they make us watch 90% of the time. Just brutal me zombie you human, me infect you fast, you become zombie too. Closest to that ideal so far has come I Am A Hero in first few volumes. Nothing massive like I would like too see but way better than Walking Dead and other shows.

Should start watching Latin American soaps. They know what they are. Cheesy acting big boobed latina babes trying to score the hottest latina man they know, whatever the cost. While the hottest latina man tries to score the hottest latina babe with the least shitty personality, to show that beauty is not everything, while at the same time not really showing that.

World needs more historically accurate but entertaining shows like this. Vikings is somewhat acceptable, but there's still unnecessary drama.

Walking Dead made things interesting in that dying from any cause would zombify you, that made things a bit more interesting. But never saw the appeal in a series that desperately wants to be like GoT 'wooooo, anyone can die!'.

Anyway I kinda liked Firefly aswell. Some feelscenes to show that the characters are not total evil assholes, but thats about the extent of it. Most of the time they deal with situations, not coping with eachothers feelings.

Well Walking dead is based on a comic book(somewhat barely, but still). I havent read a single line in it, but already seen its covers and some short descriptions, pretty sure Carl will definately not die. The show will probably try to show like the comic how the wasteland and all that stuff going on with his family and friends turned him, a kid, into something else. Best you can hope for that the parts actor gets changed and they write him badass scenes, instead of useless cunt scenes. Because common. That kids face is extremely punchable.
