This mod was never worth your time. Quit playing it and video games in general.
You think you're pretty smart with your dago mustache and your greasy hair.

Kinda at a crossroads here... not sure if this mod is really worth my time anymore. Apparently I got perma-banned for having an opinion and using a minor glitch, with the option to come back should  reveal how to do said glitch. Anyways, your input would be helpful.
If you want to quit, fine, but at least do it after you've explained how to reproduce the exploit so we can fix it for all the other people who play.

You don't get the right to make such demands. When you decide to grow up, or actually contribute to this mod, you can be told the secret.

Edit: It's understandable that admins want to keep the game clear, but this is not how you go about getting bugs fixed.

In all seriousness, don't leave cRPG. One of the few remaining siege heroes. The reason you got banned was buttfuck retarded as well.

This drama seems pretty overblown from something that started out as such a small thing. It'd be nice if you could just PM Fips about the exploit and call it a day so you can talk about the ban through PM/IRC once everything calms down.

Seriously though, stay banned if you cheat and won't tell the devs how to fix it.

Although yes he should have just told what the bug was. But was banning/probably a permaban really necessary? Thats like Stalin sending a person to a gulag because he punched a pigeon in the face. Outrageous.

Yeah, because it's totally okay to find a bug, abuse it, refuse explaining it to the devs and instead try to blackmail them with the information.

As far as I've understood, the ban stays in place until he explains the bug. He could have been playing again 5 minutes after the ban, but instead he made this tread.

and lol blackmailing is what you guys are doing!

" give us the info on how to do the bug exploit or else you will stay banned"

Better not leave jona. So few people left now.

But take a few days off. Seems like it'd do some good. There are other games.

I guess I'm one of the few who also sees it this way..

It doesn't matter when you're doing the glitch, or how many people were on at the time and whether or not anyone cared.  You did this knowingly, then in a rather shitty manner, attempted to use it as leverage against the people who make / moderate this mod, (and who do it for free) in an effort to get what you wanted.  How do you not see the error in your ways?

I don't think you should be permanently banned, but I'm pretty sure as soon as you just tell them how to do the glitch so they can improve the game, you'll be able to play again.

Trying to use bullshit, to bullshit your way into getting what you want, then trying to bullshit your way out of it, is for the lack of a better word, bullshit.

Don't quit, just own up to your mistakes, and apologize, then play more siege.  :)

Don't quit the game over something like this, if you really still like the game then just do what you need to do to end the permaban and start killing scrubs in siege again.

blackmail (ˈblækˌmeɪl)
n
1. (Law) the act of attempting to obtain money by intimidation, as by threats to disclose discreditable information
2. the exertion of pressure or threats, esp unfairly, in an attempt to influence someone's actions

It's hardly blackmail, considering he's being punished for exploiting and has been given a chance to redeem himself.

So the ban stays perma if we fix the bug before he talks? Finally some kind of reward system for devs.
