I hereby officially bind myself to avoid trappling corsair, aka that byzantium agiwhore, with my mighty steed as much as possible.
I will change course if I find myself about to be riding over this poor man and will turn my horse in the direction of the closest by archer or try to drive my great lance in the soft flesh of an enemy (or friendly) horse archer.

I can't promise doing this when playing piker/shielder because the last time I tried you rekt me as.soon as I came too close :( and even I can't outrun you with my 8 ath.

sorry if by any chance my pike gets nerfed because many players already complained about instastab, and by pike i mean the weapon with 67 speed, i'll GTX. if kicks get nerfed (why would they need a nerf, when frogs with 50 kilos equipment on themselves avoid them by jumping, swinging and blocking at the same time), i'll GTX. for the rest, i'm fine with it.

I don't understand how you can complain man. You have 10 athletics. If you just kept running thoughtfully you wouldn't ever be bumped by cav. Bumbo_Jones (or whatever name he has) constantly kept dismounting cav coming at him while playing his shield+rondel dagger char. Not to mention that you do carry a red tassel spear with you and can stop any horse coming at any distance, even if it glances on a horse.

Also don't complain at the damage taken from bumps because it's really small now. Bumps have been nerfed quite few times. Destrier-like horses barely hurt. Oh wait, forgot that you like to run around in red gambeson. Such armour. Much protection. No shit xbowers 1hit you. 15str and 0IF if I remember properly. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Also you're complaining at shits being fast while you have how much, 190 weapon profficiency in 1h? Also ye actually among the stabs that gained on power 1h stab got most of it, so you don't actually have much to complain about as a 1h.

You even went to the point at which you said 'nudge spam' .............................................. omg <facepalm>

True thing that kicks are broken. Promote long weapon usage or keeping the distance which slows down the fight as well.

Kicks are not broken. They are very fucking risky to use in battle, and easy to avoid.. It's just a bit humiliating to get kicked, that is all.

Lol, kicks are a risk yet they virtually cannot fail if used at the right moment. I'm quite a kickwhore myself and I have more trouble adjusting my timing for the free hit using different weapons rather than actually landing the kick. Also it's true counterkicks are a thing, but I've only met one guy that actually used that against me and that was when I was rather caricaturally abusing long spear backpedal + kicks, so my kicks were extremely predictable.

Wat, I thought it was pretty much unanimously agreed that the hit detection on kicks is terrible and that the duration of the active kick extends far beyond the actual kick animation, which makes kicks utterly broken. Whenever I press E the leg swipe of my character releases a nuclear shockwave that stuns anything in a 45 degree radius in front of me. Please revert to native kick mechanics but still without blocking. In these days of high blocking skill getting a free hit should be at the risk of taking a free hit if you fail.

Chamberkick, unlike rolls for knockdown is not an effective counter to kicks, first of all because you have to be extremely fast. Second of all, it does not seem to work when you hold an attack, which is incredibly stupid because the rhythm of combat ensures that nearly all kicks happen when you attack. The only viable use is to punish fags that kick after knockdown, but I find it easier to roll.

Kicks are no doubt broken, however are they OP? I think not, at least if you have 90+ length weapon.

Kicks are sometimes the only way to fight against people hugs you with their tiny weapons , as someone who hates getting too close to the enemy i think kicks are useful. But yes, moving the direction of your kick while using it is pretty retarded.

I honestly use nudging and kicking most of the time and still enjoying the game.I usually don't whine about ranged, of course getting shot is not fun at all, but being like "FUCKING ARCHERS NERF QQQQ NOOB PLAY MELEE MAN UP" is pointless and retarded.Only retarded thing with archery is having too much arrows. Seriously, is it really possible to carry 30+ arrows?Whatever...

How I react against ranged spam;

I got shot by an archer and died? -Its normal in an 50 v 50 battle, anyone could get shot.
I got shot and died at second round? -Pff, our archers have to counter enemy archers instead of trying to hunt peasants.
I got shot and died at third round? -Well, whole ranged is the enemy team, i will get my cheapass equipment and play DTV then.

False. Most 2H and polearm weapons are no less effective at facehug range than in optimal range. If long weapons did less damage at shorter range (like they should), kicks would be perfectly justified. But I call bullshit when someone hits me with the shaft of their long axe for 41 cut, and they are still able to keep me away from them with me having no chance to close in because of kick abuse.
