Fellow Throwers Lend me your Aid

I'm not sure if my build is actually as good as I think it is so I need help.

Strength:      24
Agility:         15

Skill to attr:    8

Power Throw:     8
Power Strike:     5
Athletics:           5
Weapon Master: 5

Throwing:         130 (33 effective wpf with armor and PT)
Two Handed:       36

Heavy Bastard Sword
Throwing Spears

Do I actually have only 3 effective PT with my wpf or is it still 8 PT. Because if it's not I think i'd be better off going 21/18 with my build instead of playing with a horrible one.

Nah, it just subtracts PT * 11 and if you're above 0, you're good. That's a fine build. I've tried 21/18 and that's also good.

PT 8 is probably as high as you want to go. I've tried PT 10 and there isn't much difference. People are going to hate you when you pull out the two-handed sword though :P. I also question why you would even use a two hander since your proficiency is so low. My personal opinion is to go pure thrower, but I'm also biased.

why dont u take "Langes Messer" in secondary Mode instead of HBS? only 1 slot and very similar Stats. At least in my opinion. So u have more Throwing Ammo.

Go 4 slots of throwing, Jarids?

Spampump out some of that love quite early, take those low probabiltyshots.
Then pick up a random weapon from fallen friend or foe.

The scavagerpart is quite fun.. you end up fighting with all sorts.

Or take a throwing lance as a last backup weapon. Good in melee or just throw as a last resort and loot a weap while running away.

It's because my HBS is MW from my melee build so I thought i'd use it. I don't like to be gimped in melee too much either.

Well, with only 36 2h wpf you will be gimped in melee anyways.  :P

I would also go for 21/18 with a Throwing Lance for melee.

Taking 2 slot weapon shouldn't be a problem for throwers anymore since throwing daggers and snowflakes are 0 slot and are pretty good with high PT.
I do believe going over 7 PT is overkill though, you don't need more than that.

I have fantasized about making a thrower with 3slot Great maul and 1 slotshield and 2 slots of throwing daggers.
Would be very versatile.
But I suck at melee, maybe for someone else, that actually know how to duke it out upclose?.

...i did nearly the same with brexli for 2 gen's - 3 slot long maul (pole) , 1 slot old board shield & 2 stacks of daggers. i don't know anymore exactly which build it was.
but i had only 1 shieldskill ..'round 4 pt & 7+ ps, 100 wpf pole rest throwing. it was before the wpf changin' patch came out.

...it was refreshly funny & i found it indeed versatile. with a deeper think-about , it could be a nice build i guess.
