Tournaments NA!

So im thinking of putting together weekly Tournaments and id like to know what you guys think is the best size and what you would participate in!

Also id like to know how much i should charge entrance fee and how much 1st,2nd and 3rd would get!!!

Trust me it wont once i find out what the population likes i can get this going i need to know:

The size
How much gold to put down
Entrance Fee if any idc
What server to use either Duel or Host my own or something if its not 1vs1s
How many people will participate!

Imo it'd be better if the first didn't have an entrance fee so the kinks can all get worked out, and then if you really are planning to make it a recurring event you can do a small entrance fee in the following tournaments (15k to 20K maybe?) it kinda depends on how many applicants as to what would be a good wager. if lots sign up, a small amount like that could add up really fast, but with only like 6 or 7 players then a small fee wouldnt really reward much profit.

I'd also say do 1v1, especially because it'd be the easiest to organize because you can just use the regular duel server for it.

Why not 3v3?

3 is enough people to make it interesting, but not so many that it's hard to schedule.

Scervo makes a good point.  You could also limit it, to however many teams you think you could handle.  20k entry fee at most.  Honestly for the first one.. Do it just like Panos but maybe a 5k fee, then expand on it in later events.

As for size of teams.... If you can get a server, 2v2 is thrilling.  Otherwise, 1v1, and just use NA3.  Something that would also be rather neat is, if you found someone willing to record it all.

Yea id love to have someone record it all! And depending how the vote comes out maybe first il ldo a 1vs1 with no entrance fee to see how many people i can get in on it cause i dont mind putting gold into the community!

Entrance fee is a dick pick, and the grand prize is a .rar of the dong-portraits (rendered with a classy warming filter, of course).
