Can't decide if I should post the chat logs when Bjord was losing 7-0 on NA, or not. On the one hand he did make the bet, then he challenged Firebus to ANOTHER set of duels on EU, then lost there as well. On the other hand, Firebus was dueling with a full Lordly Milanese set(you're scum to duel with that). Then again, both agreed to allow any items. Hard decision, either way, this is far worse than simply ditching out on a ranked duel to save points.

No, it started out as a normal duel with stakes. He just played like a complete jerk, using the lightest armour and fastest weapon to make it virtually impossible for me to consistently block with 138 ping. I didn't feel like that was fair, so I told him simply that if he wanted to win his items back we could go to EU. He didn't like that at all and went completely batshit crazy, CAPS LOCK CRAZY and blasting out insults and hateful words like "jew". This behaviour alone is enough for me to not give a shit. We went to EU3 and this time he puts on the max amount of armour possible and a flamberge. You think I wanna duel shit like this? On top of being called names repeatedly?

He's just a pathetic maggot, and I don't care what anyone thinks about this whole ordeal. There are more important things in life.

Yea... Unfortunately the 40 or so wpf that you lose from a full set of Milanese doesn't make even the slightest difference when you're talking about skilled melee players.

No, I can't. I'm not even sure if it should be done. I think if you're going to have a duel with these kinds of stakes, you shouldn't have it be a spur of the moment kind of thing. Here's my proposal on how to fix this: Set a time and date, then redo both sets of duels. If Bjord loses, he has to pay up. If Firebus loses, he has to pay. No heirlooms, STF only, and you both have to use the same equipment.

Edit: Apparently many of you don't understand what I mean when I say "I'm not sure if it should be done". I don't mean to lessen the severity of what Bjord did, I'm simply questioning the extent that Administrators and Overlords should involve themselves in such matters. Firebus came into IRC trying to get administrators and overlords to take action, which is where I got involved. Furthermore, the stated proposal was created to elevate the seriousness of the situation which I don't believe was understood the same by both parties(one was intoxicated?).
