Yes he is, and it's a choice. Just like being goody-goody, hispter, troll etc. It is allowed.

Scamming isn't allowed.

There is a rule against scamming people, agreeing to the duels and then breaking the deal is effectively scamming.

That is marketplace rule, has nothing to do with duels for gold. And is only enforced when "victim" makes mistake.

It is up to Cooties to decide, unless chadz, cmp or harald decide to interfere.

I think it's important not to force Bjord to stick to agreement because that would be chocolate chip cookie/communist move. It sux being the only who's at lose here but if we enforce people to be nice that is removal of freedom. You mericans should know a thing or two about that, I believe.
Scamming isn't legal in America, but yeah
1H stab is the fastest, strongest and longest 1H animation. There's no reason NOT to use it in all instances. I don't know if it's OP, but it's boring. 1H used to be fun because you had a fast (left), long (right) and the most devastating attack (stab) and had to choose the best attack for each occasion.

Lame.....
I've never played a server where people split up as much or as often as on EU1.  No wonder range is having a field day.

We're not in America.
So? You basically say forcing people to not scam other people is anti freedom and that we should obviously agree because we're American...don't bring up America and then back out the second your shit argument falls apart by saying "We're not in America duh.".

A sprinkle of rage there, a spray of frustration and a tinge of butthurt; the perfect recipe for an entertaining thread.
Wow you're just having so much fun I hope you get what's coming to you.

Leshma is right, I quite enjoy having the freedom to try and scam people out of looms and gold. And how dare they try to bring communism to cRPG by forcing everyone to not try to scam people. What is this, Europe?

Well Bjord, you did agree to hand over a +3 claymore in the event of your loss. And according to this you lied. According to the internet dictionairy, a scam is a dishonest scheme, so when you refuse to give the winner what we won, that's a scam.

From a humble layman's perspective, it does look like Bjord is attempting to cover his failure by spinning this as a troll attempt, and Firebus has taken this quite hard.

Conclusion: This thread is a useful reference to Bjord, and also for the pitfalls of duelling for stuff/attaching value to in-game items.
