Save it, and then retire one more time, with 2 loompoints you can get a +3 armour nowadays.

No worries buddy, also a small tip, since you are new, focus playing on DTV with cheap gear , DTV is by far the most rewarding mode of the mod, gold & xp alike!

No, its better to get that extra generation early on and this way you can also play another build or optimize the one you played before.

Also I would recommend +3 light/medium gloves for first +3. You will use them with every class you play and aren't limiting yourself to one body armour or one weapon. They are the most expensive looms though, so maybe body armour first. gloves and body armour give you +10 armour for no extra weight
If you have ranged troubles use this:

Since you're new you should stay away from DTV, because you won't learn anything from it. Skill is way more important than looms, gold or gens.

Implying that playing on EU1 will make you a better player

He can go to EU3 to train if he wants..

Well, grinding, let say 50 hours of bots won't really improve him. Ofc, getting shot in the face 3sec after spawning on eu_1 isn't much better
I personally dislike DTV, so I'm doing my best to turn new players away from it aswell :D

the funny thing about this is that yesterday when I played DTV almost every single round I got shot in the head by a bot

Duels won't help make you more successful in battle mode or siege.
You can suck at melee duels but top the scoreboard in battle mode either way and you can do it with any class (even 1H/2H/polearm infantry).

What's this about DTV causing you to not l2p?

I only ever learned how to murder people whilst avoiding being murdered using the powers of parry by playing DTV, therefore I declare this thread and all of its participants

Learning to play from DTV is a bad idea.
You will certainly learn but will probably learn all the wrong things.

Yes, been posted before. Rather than practicing swinging a weapon, it would be better to go 1 hander and learn a martial art that specializes in takedowns, because that's all that really matters in that sport.
