So since the Sloths wanted to make a big deal about it here on the forums, I was asked to make a counter thread. Yay.
The Sloths came to us and asked if they could attack our castle for an xp battle. Against the wishes of several of our members, I obliged them under the condition that they returned the castle if they took it.
Following their defeat in the xp battle they instantly attacked the castle with a second army before the damaged gear could be taken out and despite the fact that they had been promised a field battle with that second army.
At this point, 90% of our forces had already been long gone to generate xp battles. I did not put in troops to further defend the castle because of it being gear bugged and the battle at a bad hour.
Following this the Sloths reinforced the castle with their armies removing any doubt that their request for xp battles was a desperate and underhanded grab for our fiefs.
I managed to attack the castle twice before strat ended. The first battle we were outnumbered by 10 mercs despite an afternoon of running through all the ts servers. The second we were outnumbered 2-1.
Do not be fooled by these scoundrels. I hope that this will serve as a warning to any who think of dealing with them in the next strat.
If you want our lands, at least do it proper like CC (15k invasion force- we held out for 3 days with a faction a fraction of their size).
