Me thinks CRPG need's an animations for:
Darts, Throwing axes, knives, daggers, ninja stars. being taken out of the bag. (Bag model in the side slot)
War Darts, Jarid's, Javelins, Lances pulled out from behind the back.
If Papa Lazarou ever releases such animations I hope CRPG would quickly put them to good use.
From my experience as a thrower:Lets face it, having an invisible delay before releasing the projectile sucks and feels unnatural. Spamming projectiles point blank while back pedaling is the most effective strategy since the trajectory has been decreased a lot (except for throwing axes where it seems to have improved) and throwing weapons are extremely inaccurate which forces us to go in point blank.
The "shotgun" effect, is very effective, but is also very arcady and unnatural.
I am sure we can come to a balance with more accurate and slower throwing weapons making their use more tactical and timely instead of arcady shotgun spam.
