It's 3 in the fucking morning and I just realized our "developers" (I'd call them professional killers) made one of our dearest friend disappear; I'm talking about Shashka, amazing one handed weapon, a close friend, who almost nobody cared about, except me and maybe kansuke. Disappeared since I don't fucking know for no apparent valid reason.

As a polearmer my question is simple: can't we do the same with rondel daggers? We all know they're a mistake, so please just go over it and admit they're wrong, they're like Campari red Martini and sparkling wine: they have to be killed as you did with shashkas

Rondel daggers aren't a big deal, high ath people who insist on purely backstabbing are annoying, but they can do that just as good with any other low difficulty weapon. Also, resurrect the Shashka.

uhh yes they are, they're a huge deal. i wish it was only backstabbing, they actually face you and they fight you like they were on the same level (despite being a weapon with no reason to exist, that costs less than 600 gold).

now seriously can i at least get the reasons for putting such a shitty thing into this game? as far as i know nobody asked for more knives or things like that, then why put this evil into the game? why should it make pierce damage with swings? who added this?

In combination with high agi and a reasonably good shield, rondel dagger is ridiculously OP. Someone was asking me what my problem was with rondel dagger builds being "viable" the other day. Well the thing is some guy in peasant clothes, high agi, a good shield and a rondel dagger can easily top the scoreboards, while also making a shitload of money from the incredibly low cost of equip. It's pretty telling that even a long espada eslavona is not as effective with the exact same build. Because spam feint is much more effective with the rondel, because of small model it's much, much harder to block than any other 1h.

I never understood the rondel dagger. I'd remove it too, but maybe it could instead not be used with a shield, forcing those lame spammers to learn to chamber.
