Hoax, turns out it was fake. And I'll echo others here in that New Vegas > Fallout 3. I hope Obsidian is in charge of any eventual Fallout sequel, and not Bethesda tbh.

Fallout New Vegas was a better game but I played 3 a lot more because DC was far more interesting to explore.

Loved Fallout 3 and Vegas. Don't care if they are not following 1&2 story or whatever. Tons of great mods - I had everyone naked in no time! Bold vaginas and permanent erections everywhere. Killed some random women to check out how their privates looked like. No regrets - time well spent! Add Fallout 3 slavery overhaul, and you can pursue a lucrative slave trading career! Just to spice things up - crucifixion improvements. Check out this mod's description:

The people at Obsidian never achieved an open world engine like Gamebryo though. They are much better game designers than Beth studios, but lacking in the technology department.

Combat is turn based (if you switch it on) default is real time which is pretty confusing at the start. I saw massive multi battles. Crafting and factions are just cool. Map is huge and game have a full loot system which makes it pretty hard at the begining. There is a tent (house) system also and lots of freedom
