Speed bonus for Cavs

How can we calculate speed bonus on horse with Lance?  i want change my build as cav.My mind confused !

15\24 or 24\15  which one is better for damage while on a Courser ?  i want to hear ur thoughts..THx

You cant ride a Courser with 15 agility because you need 6 riding ( as long it didnt change with patch). So 24/15 is not useful.
15/24 is imo bad as well because low damage.

Still, I would prefer 24/15 with a large pony.

But I am just a little archer, I dont know anything

I'm not sure if the riding  skill gives the same bonus to riding speed in crpg and other mods (native). But you might try it in a singleplayer mod, with the stats you want to try out.

You can see both the damage and the speed bonus. Might be helpful to find out. Just make sure you use different weapons to see how their speed effects the speed bonus too.

But 15\24 with 180 wpt  it must be damage like a hell

I am very interested in this as well. There is no information on the effect of damage on speed bonus, no numbers whatsoever.

I went with a strength stacking build because I don't really do full speed hit and runs. I fight around the infantry fight, focus on bumping and helping me team win the fight, but otherwise I wouldn't have been sure what build to pick either. Went 26/15 now, getting 9 ps in 3 million, but I am still curious how big of a factor speed bonus actually is.

grab either a lance or great lance (heavy lance is too slow imo)

was my first "successful" with which i usually got a positive k/d (that means a lot in my case )

ı played with 15\21( M.H.Lance+C.Destrier ) in (EU1.My kd was 12:3) H.Lance worked prettywell with 170 wpt     But the problem is 15 str is not enough for survive from incoming hits.So ı think 21/21 can be the best choice?

The str build has the highest damage potential but if you turn your horse even slightly, it's enough to give the damage lead to the additional riding build. Since your speed will never stay constant or at the maximum, an agility build will surely have more effective damage in any real battle situation. Also note this was with a courser, it's very likely the case that for other horses with different speed/maneuver ratios, things will be different.

I remember from my singleplayer games with my nephew that with a lance+rouncey against another rouncey you could get up to 800% speed bonus.
I don't really remember it against infantry, it might have been between 100% and 300%, depending on the direction they run / you ride.

Your test is a good stepped, but ultimately flawed.  You can't ride a Courser with 15 ath.  What horse did you really use?

you need 18 agi/6 riding for a courser.  so we wonder what horse/ setup you used : )

I used to ride 26/15 (lvl 32, would be 27/15 at 33) and I loved it. Destrier is a great horse and a lance with that additional ps was dealing a pretty nice damage.

It's obviously easier to ride when your riding skill is 6 or 7 but I wanted moar str. I recommend 8ps for lancer.

ı think we dont need lots of ps while we have 170-180 wp+speed bonus.   im just searching this.
