Item dupe bug happening again

Both Olwen and Osiris reported in IRC that they got the item dupe bug (system message them 100's of times saying they won the battle).

This issue should have been fixed after the first time it was reported.  It should have wiped strat after the dozenth time it was reported (after fixing it).

This breaks strategus but nothing is done about it.

GF strat traders.  You're worthless compared to the item dupe bug.

yep. I recall Artyem posting a thing showing how much strat silver he has... 340mil if im not mistaken, though he obviously hasn't been spending it like crazy since his troops werent head to toe in +3 full plate every yruma siege so thats nice but it is still pretty demoralizing knowing that such huge sums of silver have shown up from bugs.

Matey, that's not how it happened.  It's a bad thing to throw wild accusations at people if you don't know the facts.

Well I'm like 90% sure our silver didn't come from an item dupe, considering the guy we attacked had 500,000+ crates of nothing but peasant gear (and like 2.7 billion dresses that at one point cost 0 silver each, and post-patch were worth like 30 silver each).  Just a really good case of dumb luck, and all we've done with it since then is give it away and supply our armies with themed gear.

I know that Frisia encountered a true item dupe back when we were all Fimbulvetr, and I've heard rumors that Occitan and Semenstorm have also had cases of item duplication, but not on the same level as the Frisian example.  Murdertron and I had an XP battle awhile back and had an item dupe that supplied a shit ton of varangopoulos armor, which like I said before sold for around 5m in my case and supplied him with a shit ton of armor for his future XP battles.

I believe Occitan did get the dupe as well, since Occitan Fergerson has a ton of renown.  In a related note, Jake just got it during the EXP battle, so umm.... more exp battles and such.

It seems like a lot (all?) the battles that happened yesterday, the winner got the item dupe bug.

Fix and wipe strat prz (lots of improvements have been suggested as well over the last year + couple months).  Maybe having a defined time period for each strat iteration would be nice too.  But these item dupes really do break the balance of strat.

Ascalon and KKK hOc didn't get it, I checked the ladder.  At least two of the EU battles got it, not sure about the fief transfer.

Not only the winners actually, I lost yesterday and got all the +1 Equip x15 times or something. The winner had no crates afterwards, so he didn't get it.

If you have more than 100,000 crates or something, it shows as 0.  Check the attacker on the strat hero ladder, if he's top ranking now and moved a bunch of ranks since yesterday, he got it.

Looks like GrandKnight of TKOV got it as well as 9Finger from MB.  Seems like quite a few people got it yesterday.

I can't see how this is viewed as okay by the devs.  I can't believe they didn't fix it by now.  I can't believe they didn't wipe strat and restart after fixing it.

It supposedly only rears it's head during updates.  But I don't believe that to be true.  It at the very least significantly increases the chances, as we've seen yesterday.

If I recall correctly, my battle and tkov battle were pushed back.  Gobblin battle wasn't?  Maybe that's the difference.

We had a little battle today, and my mate got the messages, too, like 10 times, but he didnt got any item dublications.

He got two different types of messages, one included a looting list and the others didnt.
