Cav Hybrid Build

It's been a long time since I've played, and I don't get to play much, so I'd like my next build to be my last. I've been messing around on a skip the fun character, but I'm having trouble deciding between two builds and I was hoping someone with more experience could help me. I'm thinking of either 15/24 or 18/21, as a cav hybrid (mostly 2h with some in polearm for lancing).

15/24 - 7 wpm, 6 riding, 5 if, 5 ps
18/21 - 7 wpm, 5 riding, 5 if, 6 ps

I'm trying to keep my polearm skill around 100 and my 2h around 160.

I appreciate any advice you can give me.

Depends what you ride...are you riding an Arabian?  I would honestly recommend only going the minimum agility you need to ride the horse. 

Also not having athletics is going to suck if you ever want to play in strat sieges (which give lots of XP), or get dehorsed on the battlefield.  Athletics is much better than IF to me.

The best level 30 builds (to me) were always 15/21, 18/18, or 21/15 (if you are using a shield, which you aren't).  In that case the best builds for no shield users are 18/21, 21/18, and 24/15 (IMO).

I'd suggest something like this (assuming you need 7 riding for an Arabian, otherwise adjust):

18/21:

6 PS
3 Athletics
7 Riding
7 WM

At level 33 with this build you can be 21/21 and have 5 athletics/7 PS

I'm actually riding a Destrier, the Agi was mostly for melee combat, if I get dehorsed I like to pull out my 2h, or if I'm doing siege, strat, or I'm too broke to ride my horse. The added Agi and Wpf really help with that, since I'm splitting pts between polearm and 2h

You have athletics in your build?  You didn't say so in your OP.

A good level 30 destrier build for 2h/polearm I'd recommend (this is before WPF respec, you may want more WPF then I'd suggest going 21/18)

80 polearm WPF

At 21/18 you could do

7 PS
5 Athletics
5 Riding
6 WM

138 2h
103 polearm

IMO it's kind of pointless to go more riding than you will need for your horse (aside from being able to pick up a horse with higher riding skill if you get dismounted).

153 2h/ 77 pole (which comes out to effective 160 2h/100 pole wpf from the new melee bonus.)
or
144 2h/ 96 pole (which comes out to effective 155 2h/117 pole wpf)

Could also move a point from athletics or Ironflesh to riding.

Is a 15/24 build with 4 shieldskill and 5 riding at lvl 34 worth it after the new patch? 1h / pole hybrid btw

Or would it be possible to make a 1h / pole / throwing hybrid with 3 pt at lvl 34 and 6 at 35?
