I am also intrigued. The renown has been in game for a while but I am just noticing this heroes ladder. I like it.

You gain renown by doing stuff on strat

The ladder is just "who has the most renown"

1 mil renown = 1 point in your renown rank

I think eu has lower on average - we have 3 in top eu slots.  The one fcc guy is ranked 13th in EU and has less renown than matey and I who are 24 and 30 on NA.  More fights with less people.

it does split renown amongst your faction... so small active factions get lots of renown per guy.

I think the renown ladder only updates once a day, if its anything like the dueling one.  So we may all see it tomorrow.

We're not 100% sure why its so high.  I mean, we know he got a bunch from his equipment dupe in Mawati.  But it still shouldn't be so high.  I'm not sure if he was in CC while this war with FCC was going on, because he left at some point to feed me troops.

Edit:  Oh I guess Jake ONLY has 1 billion renown.  Scrub.

U get renown if u are commander of battle or a fief owner under attack
also each member of faction get part of renown from every battle

not exact numbers just for example

battle 1500vs1500
commander A vs B
faction A 100 man vs B 50 man
loses 1000 vs 1000

renown for battle 2 mil vs 2 mil
commander A get 1mil renown vs B get 1mil renown
each member of A faction get 1mil/100=100k vs each member of facion B get 1mil/50=200k

smth like dat dont known exact formula  :P
