The best way to get something done is to show it needs to be done. Nobody truly takes you seriously when you claim HA is overpowered yet there are very few HA around because it's a pain in the ass to level up and play. I say we need more free respecs if we want to really get this game to a balanced state.

The best way to get something done is to show it needs to be done. Nobody truly takes you seriously when you claim HA is overpowered yet there are very few HA around because it's a pain in the ass to level up and play. I say we need more free respecs if we want to really get this game to a balanced state.

Fix those invisible armours, Kafein just showed Eu2 why.

HA is too stronk atm for sure. Too accurate.  Actually all the ranged seems too accurate

I have the same 18/21 build on my HA STF like I've always had and 5 or 6 wpf makes no difference what so ever, HA skill makes way more difference anyways.

So if you think HA got super overpowered because less than 10wpf fine I'm down, bring it back as it was, makes no difference to me.

8 or 9 wm does make a difference on the other hand.

Just put a bloody wpf cap at 175 for everything and reset wpf again and problem solved. Do I hear pre patch 180+ wpf ranged moaning? Who fucking bloody cares, put rest of wpf in some melee proficiency you buggers. This is the most effective fix for all kinds of abuses and will force players to use more than one weapon which is always good.

Well  i think the free respec offered the chance for a lot of people to change to ranged. HA is most effective at high levels and so people jumped at the chance.
 

As with all ranged its the sheer number of them. there is literally nothing you can do against 4-5 HA roaming the field in a group. it makes people rage :D

But people rage when Byz mob with spears turns up or Merc mob turns up. The problem we face is unfair team balance. The problem with HA/HX mobs is that there really is no counter :(

I would agree if that happened over a number days or weeks, but it happened for one night, when some old ex bandits so happened to troll the server with 6-7 HA's, people like to overeact

1 HA was raping on EU1, topping score without proximity score bonus.

Hopefully these guys get bored as its a very 1 sided way to play the game, not much pvp challenge

1 hand stab is still a joke with short weapons. People are pushing into models while they stab and it still hits

My suggestion concerning that was always to safe char builds and load them later dependent on situation you need it. Then you also only would need 1 char which is accumulating all XP. This round you play ranged (load build done), next round 2h hero(load build done), then you goto a Strategus match and they are lacking cav for overland battle (load build done). 1 main char, different builds, 1 XP pool(no lost time) fuck respecs. You can still keep generations for heirlooms and you can keep max lvl. In the end this would also make balancing on the server by role(build) possible, flavour of the week .. an army composition with 10%ranged/90% cav or next week 20%ranged/40%inf/... this could be broken down to single weapons ... how many of those may be used ...

anyhow i use for roughly 16 generations the same gear, nearly the same build and warned about the ranged trend for over 2 years now. Only one nerf realy did reduce the amount of ranged, there we got then lots of QQ and the devs wet themselves and revoked the changes.

Now we have so many ranged on the eu servers, that if there really would be a proper balancing taking care of that "problem", devs may fear even more to loose regular players ... it just gotten out of hand as i see it.
