What arrows to use?

Ik that bodkins are meant for heavy armor, everything else for light/medium but idk what to use?

bodkins/barbed/tatar/normal arrows

I don't see much full plate walking around I usually see medium/light

so I was wondering what arrows should I use for this? out of them all

Bodkin Arrows make sense when the enemies body armor weights around 13 or higher. When its lower then this all arrows make more damage then bodkins.
When the weight is more then 18 you should use bodkin arrows for sure, because tatar and lower wont hurt the enemy that much anymore. So between 13 and 18 its not that important what arrows you shoot: Tatar or Bodkin.
As you dont know what kind of armors are running around at the battlefield you should decide for one type of arrows and concentrate on enemies with the fitting armor type. Also when you arent that good in shooting yet, Barbed or Normal Arrows have some more arrows per pack and you can spam them more.

Use tatar arrows. They do good damage and dont cost much for upkeep. Bodkins get damaged every round and will cost you 354 gold. Also never loom arrows.

Thats wrong. Looming Arrows only give you a higher amount of arrows per pack, but its still worth it, when you want to go for archer long time.
Whats true is, that its useless to loom Bows at the moment, because they only get +2 accuracy and +1 speed or so.

Bodkins are best choice IMO if you have gold for upkeep. With Long bow not many ppl will survive headshot.

Many ppl are saying that tatars are better against light armor guys, but still, you will hardly ever oneshot someone by body shots, and you will be forced to shoot him again to kill.

Plenty of ppl have already +3 armors and gloves so they have decent amount of body armor, so bodkins will hurt them a lot

Best arrows for looming are bodkins. Difference between 0 and +3 is huge in amount of them. I have +3 bodkins and if you are not spamming like a crazy with them, 2 quivers of them are enought for a round.
