18/24 8 WM and I got 184 wpf instead of 173. With medium armor, difference is barely few points. So, I guess this change is fine and not OP at all. About extra wpf in other proficiencies, got only 30 in both 1h and polearms. Not much of a bonus imho.

Edit: I'm wrong. This bonus works better than expected. I got 30 ON TOP of wpf I've got in 1h and polearms. Quite awesome, I might say

I hope Tydeus is still willing to answer our questions. Have one major one to ask. Were there any changes to how armor weight affects wpf (or how to properly calculate effective wpf) and is damage/wpf still the same.

I'm in major dilemma here. Should I go 21/21 or 18/21? With 21 AGI and 7 WM I have 123 wpf in three melee categories and with 24 AGI and 8 WM have 138/139 wpf. Does this extra wpf equals one PS?

28 cut is pretty bad, and it's only 30 cut at Masterwork. The regular Spear does about the same damage on most targets with its 19p sideswings. It's just a 2h version of the Spear. Obviously Esotec has more reach on thrusts, but Spear can be used with shield (and gets about she same reach as Esotec on thrusts when used with a shield).

I'm looking forward to the glancefest with all the new agi 2H when they try to sideswing with their new Esotec. Also, 2H users will learn that switching weapon modes during a fight leaves you open to attacks for a second or so.

Estoc should not have 28c, but like 18-20b.

Maybe nobody have told them, but estoc is practically a longsword with no cutting edge. sorta rondel dagger, but much longer and sturdier.
