Account pooled inventory

Is there any reason we can't have a account pooled equipment?  Why must I continually transfer my gear between character?  Its really quite annoying, and makes the game less friendly for new players.  The only issue I could see is with STFs.  However, my suggestion would to be to just give new accounts the 10k, and give STFs.

I don't think anyone will become item bugged by this.  As we've seen, its caused by weapons only, and the issue is exacerbated by multiple levels of quality of the gear.  I believe hardly any players have -1, -2, -3, 4 gear.  Hardly anyone will have a +0 item, +1 and a +3 or something like that.

Pool inventory (but not gold, because of site exploits), add some sort of menu where you can select what shows up ingame for each character.

STFs can put stuff in armory anyway.

We have separated inventories because of legacy, back when there were no accounts. Since then rules became more and more relaxed and having shared inventory makes sense. But it will probably not be changed any time soon because it affects so many places. And there are the problems with STF and too many items which need to be solved.

You could just set a deadline and then delete all STF inventories before doing a pooled inventory.  I think there would be the greater good.  STF's could sell all of their equipment before to deadline and transfer the gold to their main account.

What are the other issues that would arise from this, Harald?

Once you have 5-10 alts with shared inventory you may have so many items of different kinds that some of them won't be displayed on your screen.

What we have now is a weaker system but it has been working very well for quite some time now so I don't think there is a need of changing this. This may only save u supersmall amount of time but it's also quite some time of work for awesum ppl like Harald (<3) and it may bring some bugs and troubles.

Don't feex a thing that ain't broken.
