It has a long cape. Long capes don't work well in M&B.

That's a pretty awesome adaptation. Not really fitting for cRPG, of course, but the guy who did it is obviously quite good.

This. The best you can have is something like the Byrnja. #2 in that pic looks badass though.

Did you actually read the OP? No fantasy armors, especially not IP ones..

Right, how could I not think of this. More heraldic armors, of course, a simple tabard, a leather armor with tabard, maybe heraldic gambeson?

The hussars
(click to show/hide)

At the height of their prowess, 1576-1653 hussar armour consisted of a szyszak Oriental Turkic-in-origin helmet later developed into Polish variety with hemispherical skull, comb like Western morion 'cheekpieces' with a heart-shaped cut in the middle, neck guard of several plates secured by sliding rivets, and adjustable nasal terminating in a leaf-shaped visor. Shishak and kettle hat helmets for lower rank (retainers) were often blackened as well was their armour. A cuirass (breast plate), back plate, gorget, shoulder guards and of the Great Steppe, Western vambraces with iron glove and later during the 1630s the Persian origin karwasz vambrace that was a forearm protection. Towarzysz also could wear tasset hip, cuisse thigh and poleyn knee protection, underneath a thigh length coat of mail or specially padded coat with mail sleeves. Retainers usually wore less expensive and older armour, often painted black, and after 1670s might have no cuirass, according to some sources. Karacena Sarmatian armour (of iron scales riveted to a leather support), might have consisted of scale helmet, cuirass, gorget, legs and shoulder protection, became popular during the reign of king Jan Sobieski, but perhaps due to costs and weight remained popular mostly with the winged hussar commanding officers. Their armour was light, usually around 15 kg, allowing them to be relatively quick and for their horses to gallop at full speed

armor set

Scale armour of King Jan III Sobieski.

And really important part, wings are not part of armor, wings were fixed to the saddle never to armour.

Heraldry armours with/without cap in 15 to 20 weight if possible with red cross  on back or space that display banner

some more knightly armours in that weight  Is needed, players that dont want to go full estern style are forced to use very fave armours that match style.

I know that we have lots of chainmail in game but all of them ale low weight = low armour and brigandine is not nice armour for everyone

I love to se some chainmales with some pads

I like if we can get versions with heraldick tabarts on top of that.

Crp is full of all kind armours but we are missing critical for some players and clans armours in most important weight for melee fighters.

http://forum.melee.org/general-discussion/new-armors-quality-spreadsheet/

Nordwold tested all OSP which would fit in this game without any fps drop. Just add them and everyone will be happy to see more diversity in 35/45 armor.

The Akolouthos armor you posted is the same as we already have, the one zagibu posted. Not a whole lot we don't have already, when you start looking at it, tbh.
