http://www.euronews.com/2013/07/03/egyptian-pyramids-on-the-antarctic/

Quote
Three ancient pyramids have been discovered in the Antarctic by a team of American and European scientists.

Currently, relatively little is known about the pyramids and the team is maintaining its silence regarding the details of the discovery. The only reliable information provided by the scientists was that they were planning an expedition to the pyramids to research them more thoroughly and determine for sure whether the structures were artificial or natural.

If the researchers prove the pyramids are man-made structures, the discovery may bring about the biggest revision of human history ever made.

I can't tell if it's like "The Onion" type of bullshit reporting or what? All the other articles I see on the website don't appear far fetched... and its third in most viewed webpage of the day.

Edit: Oh wait this was published months ago.... Don't know why its showing up as most viewed today  :(   Still I wonder if they are pyramids or people just exaggerating on the shape of a mountain.

I feel gullible...

I don't know, personally I think there is a possibility, that there have been already advanced civilisations at the end of the last ice age, whom where extinguished by a big flood (maybe the thing mentioned in the old testament) and the rise of the sea level by ~100m. Its just contrary to the to the theory of civilisation and therefore considered nosense^^.

take a look on these as well http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yonaguni_Monument

In a June 2011 Rolling Stone interview, singer Katy Perry commented that she had become "obsessed" with the show, saying, "When it talks about the sky people, how everyone comes from the sky and how the Pyramids were used for star observations, it's too much for me. It all seems to connect the dots. It's blowing my mind."[24]

In a March 2012 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, actress Megan Fox remarked that she "loved" Ancient Aliens. Ellen agreed the show and its theories were "thought-provoking."[25]

This is an old hoax that keeps popping up once in a while.

Here's btw the "source" you linked (the .ru site): http://voiceofrussia.com/news/2013_06_18/Ancient-pyramids-possibly-man-made-discovered-in-Antarctica-5371/  I wouldn't pay much attention to it..

The actual image is from a mountain expedition in 2010 to Vinson Massif the highest mountain of Antarctica, also known as "The top of the bottom". You can see the image in question here:
(click to show/hide)
The peak in the background is referred to as the Sues Pyramid (most often wrongly referred to as Sue's Pyramid), it is nothing more than a nice mountain peak

More photos from Vinson Massif here: http://www.mountainguides.com/vinson-photos.shtml
Things don't exist simply because you believe in them, thus sayeth the almighty creature in the sky!

Lol at that last link:

Everyone handles the excitement of an Antarctic expedition differently. Those new to the continent should especially be watched for early signs of hypothermia which can include delusion and erratic behavior
